Rev. Thomas F.
Fischer, M.Div., M.S.A.
has served in the ordained
ministry of the Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod
(LCMS) since 1984.
An
avid writer, Fischer's
writing has be recognized
in numberous ways. He
earned collegiate
departmental honors for
writing in his sophomore,
junior and senior years of
Baccalaureate study.
In
recent years, his writings
have appeared worldwide on
the internet and in
several widely recognized
publications: Net
Results, Alban
Institute, Asbury
On-Line, and
American Association of
Christian Counselor
publications. His Ministry
Health website has been
acclaimed by pastors and
denominational leaders
throughout the world.
A 1983 graduate of
Concordia Seminary, St.
Louis, Missouri (Master of
Divinity) and Central
Michigan University, Mt.
Pleasant, Michigan
(Masters of Science In
Administration), Fischer
continued his work in New
Testament exegesis at
Concordia, St. Louis in
1984. Fischer has served
congregations in Omaha,
Nebraska, Midland,
Michigan, and Rochester
Hills, Michigan.
His passion for
missions has resulted in
founding
Lord of New Life
Lutheran Church-LCMS,
Midland, Michigan. Fischer
also actively supports
LATINO Lutheran Hispanic
ministries based in
Detroit, Michigan

and Lutheran ethnic
ministries through
St.
Paul Lutheran Community
Church
in Pontiac, Michigan
(www.SPLCC.org).
His
passion for the Word of
God is evident in all
his ministry.

organist, contemporary
keyboard player (he LOVES
his Korg Triton Pro!),
choir and handbell
director.
He is married to
Cheryl nee
Lorenz, his wife of nearly
30 years. They have one
daughter, Michelle (age
28) who will be married in
February, 2009 in Chicago,
Illinois to Robert Hannon.
When not working,
Fischer's favorite pastime
is golf...with anybody,
anywhere, regardless of
their (and, depending on
the day, his own) skill
level.
